Often times people who get infected with this find their computer get’s really slow and they are unable to use the add and remove programs options in Windows to remove this threat.
It can be very hard to rtell exactly how your computer got infected but in many cases it’s from a fake video codec. If you are infected with this then you will most likely have several other threats as well. Because these traces change all the time people find it best to use updated security software to fully remove this threat.

This virus also does damage to the Windows registry.  We recommend you use a registry cleaner  to fully repair your registry.

For those that have red and followed the manual removal guides out there and nothing seems to be working then your next best option is to have your computer repaired online.  This virus removal company is one of the best ones out there.

This virus may mutate a lot but you can still manually remove it. The main infection most of the time will be the Windows PC Defender program. Often times many of these files will be located in the %Program Files%WindowsPCDefender folder or very similar folder.   There you can see what the.exe program name is. The key is knowing the name of the running process for Windows PC Defender, once you have this you can use the Task Manager to end the process.  Once the process has ended you can remove the .exe file and all files in the folder.

It’s not uncommon to have the Windows Task Manager disabled. Often times you can rename the.exe file to a different name.  Then re-boot. Now that you are logged in again you should be able to fully remove the.exe file.
